This is the Park's main living history event which takes place every fall in October. The emphasis alternates annually between the Santa Fe Trail, and the Fur Trappers. More than forty living history volunteers, in addition to the Park's regular staff, bring the fort back to life as it was in the 1840's. In addition, trader, trapper and Indian camps set up near the fort are open during the event for touring. Bring your camera and bring your questions.
